Helping women 55 plus to navigate major life transitions and create a fulfuilling, exciting next chapter.
Diane Johnston has been a Mental Health professional Nurse Practitioner for thirty years. Having had much experience in the field of mental health, she has developed a coaching practice for women who are over the age of 55.
Why has she chosen to work with women over 55? The answer is simple and straightforward. Women at this stage of their lives have experienced many life events, both positive and negative. Life events like divorce, death of loved ones, career changes and possible illness, to name a few, tend to happen in our lives as we are more mature. Many women struggle to navigate through these changes successfully although they have the tools and resources to be successful. If a woman is “stuck,” and unable to move on in one area of her life, coaching with an experienced professional of the same age helps to move the individual forward and conquer challenges.
Coaching is not therapy. Although Ms. Johnston is a licensed board certified psychotherapist, in her Coaching practice, she utilizes a different approach based on Positive Psychology, Mindfulness practice, Mind/Body approaches and Motivational coaching methods.

Sessions are one and a half hours long via Zoom or Facetime

It is sometimes very difficult to find our center – the peaceful internal place we all possess but often do not tap into. Whether we are discouraged by the tumult and chaos happening in our country and the world or whether we are experiencing challenging personal difficulties, we can learn ways to bring ourselves peace and compassion so that we can live our best lives in the present.
